NDLEA arrests 8 suspects in Ekiti for Indian hemp cultivation

The Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Ekiti State Command, has arrested eight suspects and recovered 1,465 kilograms of Cannabis Sativa at Ire-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

The NDLEA arrested the suspects during a raid on the farm located in Oye Local Government Area of the state.

The Deputy Commandant, Narcotic Operations, Mohammed Ibrahim, led the arrest and destruction of the illicit cultivation of the Indian hemp plantation worth about five million naira.
