A high court sitting in Shendam LGA of Plateau State has seized three vehicles from a former Chairman of the LGA, Hon Isaac Kyale Kwallu, said to be property of Qua’an Pan LGA.
The seizure followed a court judgment de-livered by Justice S. D. Samchi on No-vember 3, 2022, in Shendam.

The judgement followed suit No PLD/SHD/92CV/2022 filed by Qua’an Pan LGA against the Chief Registrar (Deputy Sheriff), High Court of Justice, Plateau State; Chief Bailiff, High Court of Justice, Jos, Plateau State; Attorney General, Plat-eau State, and Hon Isaac Kyale Kwallu as first, second, third and fourth defendants respectively.
Justice Samchi granted all the reliefs sought by the claimant, holding that, “Af-ter reviewing the case, the court holds that by virtue of ownership documents attached in the said case, the vehicles are the bona fide property of the council.
“Judgment is entered in favour of the claimant and against the defendants. All the reliefs sought by the claimant are here-by granted as prayed.”
The vehicles, which were in the custody of the Plateau State High Court till the judgement, were released to the council in compliance with the judgment.
Our correspondent reports that the vehicles recovered from Hon Kwallu are a Toyota Prado, a Ford Ranger and a Toyota Hilux.
