The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed the death of five people as well as two others who sustained various degrees of injuries in a ghastly motor accident along the Bauchi-Jos road
Sector Commander of the FRSC in Bauchi State, Yusuf Abdullahi who confirmed the incident to Daily Trust in a telephone interview said that the accident occurred on Saturday around 7.50 am at Isma village along Bauchi-Jos road when a petrol tanker belonging to AIB Petroleum had a head-on collision with a private vehicle, Peugeot 406.

Abdullahi explained that the corpses and victims were taken to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital (ATBU-TH) where a medical doctor confirmed the deaths. It was gathered that the deceased included two males, two females and a girl child.
The FRSC boss added that the vehicles and properties of the victims were handled over to the GRA Police Station (MTD) Bauchi, while the corpses were deposited at the mortuary and would be released to the families of the deceased.
