Kannywood actor, director, Ali Nuhu has expressed his sadness at the passing of Kannywood producer Ibrahim Bauni.
The actor while speaking with Daily Trust said he received the news of demise of the producer with profound sadness.
Late Bauni died today (Friday) in Kano after brief illness.
Before his demise he spent about 20 years in the Hausa film industry popularly known as Kannywood and has produced films like ‘Kalubale’, ‘Harafin So’, ‘Rumaisa’, ‘Sarauniya’ among others.
Nuhu, explained that the demise of the producer is bitter pill to swallow and irreparable lost.
"Bauni was one of the founders of Kannywood, we had sleepless night and worked tirelessly to take the industry to where it is today, his lost is irreparable and bitter pill to swallow," he said.
