The Edo State Command of the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested 48 Indian hemp dealers and secured the conviction of six others in October.
The state’s Commander of NDLEA, Buba Wakawa, disclosed this yesterday to journaliusts.

He said, “We arrested 28 suspects and secured the conviction of six other drug traffickers. Among the arrested suspects are 39 male and nine females.”
He said the agency also seized 7,379.5901kg of Indian hemp and other psychotropic substances such as cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and codeine-based syrup within the period under review.
