Tragedy struck in Aramoko in Ekiti West LGA of Ekiti State when a man and his son were electrocuted.
It was learnt that the man, his wife and son were working on power connections in their house when the accident happened.

A witness said an electrician attempted to help the family repair electrical faults and that in the process there was a spark and they got electrocuted.
The witness said, “Both father and son died on the spot, while the wife is in the hospital.”
When contacted, the Chairman of Ekiti West LGA, Olusegun Ikere, commiserated with the family of the deceased, describing the incident as unfortunate.
