2023: Abe’s Supporters hold Solidarity rally In Port Harcourt

Supporters of Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate in Rivers State, Senator Magnus Abe, on Saturday, carried out a solidarity match in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

The rally took off from the popular Artillery Junction in the state capital,  and marched all the way to the ever busy Aba/ Port Harcourt road and terminated at the Port Harcourt Polo Field where they were addressed by the governorship candidate.

The solidarity match caused traffic gridlock along the stretch of the Aba/Port Harcourt road as motorists struggled to meander through.

Senator Abe while addressing his supporters said he is very confident to win the 2023 governorship election.

He said the March 2023 governorship election would be very decisive, saying the people were very desirous for a change.

“I want to assure the people of Rivers State that nobody will silence the voice of god. In 142 days from now Rivers people will decide who will be the governor of the State. Governor Nyesom Wike will leave office in May, 29, 2023 and I will be the incoming governor of the State.

“I don’t want to fight anybody. The election in Rivers State will be peaceful. I have been there for Rivers people. I have done something for the people of the State mostly in area of education. If anybody is campaigning for you ask the person his track record in terms of what he has done in the past,” he said.
