No fewer than 13 farmers have been kidnapped from Maijaki community, Birnin Maza/Tashibo ward of Lapai Local Government Area of Niger State.
Daily Trust Saturday gathered that one person also sustained gunshot injuries and was taken to a hospital for medical attention.

Multiple sources said the attack was launched around 1am on Friday.
One of the sources said the attackers, who shot sporadically moved from house to house during the operation and kidnapped the victims.
Residents of the village as well as the neighbouring villages were said to have fled.
One of the locals, Mohammed Aliyu, said after the operation, the attackers moved into Kpashimi Forest which he said serves as their hideout.
Niger State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, could not be reached on telephone as at time of filing this report. He did not also respond to a text message that was sent to him.
