The Ogun State House of Assembly has recalled Solomon Osho, one of the two members it recently suspended.
Osho, representing Remo North, was suspended recently along with the former Deputy Speaker of the assembly, Dare Kadiri, over a “breach of the assembly rights and privileges.”
Kadiri had written a petition which led to the ongoing trial of the Speaker, Olakunle Oluomo, by the EFCC over an alleged N2.5 billion fraud.
At the plenary on September 13, Oluomo announced the suspension of the two lawmakers.
The speaker explained that the lawmakers “breached the provision of section 17 of house power and privileges.”
However, Osho, last Tuesday, wrote and tendered an apology to the assembly.
The assembly, at its Tuesday sitting, pardoned the lawmaker following deliberation on his appeal.
