Residents of Abuja, the nation’s capital, have continued to troop to the annual Abuja International Trade Fair (AITF) which brings business enterprises and companies to showcase their technologies and services.
The fair is also an opportunity for partners to network and find new prospects to develop and expand their businesses.

Organised by the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), the event is the 17th edition following disruption by the COVID-19 pandemic that grounded global economic activities.
The fair, which kicked off on Friday, September 30, at the Trade Fair Complex on Airport Road, will end on October 9.
The event, according to the organisers, is expected to bring together over 500 exhibitors, 10,000 products and over 100,000 visitors to negotiate and do business.
The annual fiesta is a convergence of different businesses across the various sectors of the economy; both in the upstream and downstream sectors, looking for opportunities to expand their commercial coasts.
Also, fashion enthusiasts and designers from across the country, including from the West African sub-region, are showcasing their talents and products to attract buyers. The designs accommodate people from different regions.
Lovers of kitchen appliances are also thrilled with varieties of technology which can make every woman smile.
The theme of this year’s expo: “Creating an Export Ready Market through SMEs Digitisation”, according to ACCI President, Dr Al-Mujtaba Abubakar, presents a variety of options for SMEs to improve their performance, particularly in regard to the non-oil sector.
He stressed that over 50,000 potential customers had found Nigeria to be a reliable international commerce destination and market “thanks to the Abuja International Trade Fair” since it first opened.
Residents at the event expressed satisfaction with the organisers, saying many varieties of items were available at relatively cheaper prices.
