Shortly after observing the national anthem, the BOT members were seated to commence the meeting with Governor Wike, however, our reporter learnt that Senator Adolphus Nwabara was informed about the presence of the media.

In some video snippets which circulate online, Wike was seen asking Senator Adolphus Nwabara if he would like the media to be present at the meeting.

Speaking on the development, Governor Wike said he would have loved the media to be present at the meeting to give them the opportunity to report accurately what transpired in the meeting.

It was gathered that during the encounter, Governor Nyesom Wike expressed dismay on how the outcome of the previous meetings he held on issues concerning the crisis rocking the party was distorted by the press.

He said what was reported in the previous meeting he held with PDP stakeholders was misrepresented hence the reason why he wanted the media to cover the proceeding of the meeting so as to report accurately what transpired.

Senator Adolphus Nwabara who was seen listening attentively to the Governor’s comments told him he would prefer to address the press at the end of the meeting and the Governor at that point directed the media to excuse them.
