The campaigns for the 2023 elections have kicked off and politicians have been testing their popularity across the country.
On Saturday, Hon. Kawu Sumaila, a Senatorial Candidate of the New Nigeria’s Peoples Party (NNPP), launched his campaign in Sumaila Local Government Area of Kano, and he was welcomed by a mammoth crowd.

As his convoy arrived, the people, most of who wore red caps, Kwankwaso’s insignia, shouted and sang solidarity songs.

Some candidates of the party in the 2023 elections also identified with the crowd.
In a tweet, Rabiu Kwankwaso, President Candidate of NNPP, expressed gratitude to the people for the support.
