The Development Research and Projects Centre (DRPC) is set to host a three-day workshop for women in business and strategic planning in collaboration with Partnership for Advancing Women in Economic Development.
The Country Director, DRPC, Dr Judith-Ann Walker, said the workshop is designed to strengthen the capacities of women in business, trade, agriculture, mining, and industries as part of the objectives of the partnership.

Walker, who was represented by her Director of Projects, Dr Stanley Ukpai, added that it would also increase the recognition of women’s economic empowerment in Nigeria.
“This workshop is designed to increase the recognition of women’s economic empowerment with the national and state government ministries, departments, and agencies (MDA), increase the recognition of effective policies and programs to advance women’s economic empowerment with donors and national and state government ministries,” she said.
She added that the three-day workshop will also put the participants through grant applications and resource mobilization.
