The Ilorin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned a 43-year-old civil servant, Lambe Binta, in Kwara State for giving false information, internet fraud and being in possession of fraudulent funds.
The prosecutor, Andrew Akoja, told the court that the accused received the sum of N25,000 from one Faloye Oluwadamilola Victor, who was also arrested by the EFCC, for offences bordering on internet fraud and possession of fraudulent funds.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Counsel to the defendant, Abiola Usman, asked the court to admit his client to bail pending trial.
Justice Sani granted the defendant bail in the sum of N500,000 and adjourned the case to November 3.
