Human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, has come out of the Uyo Correctional Centre after 30 days in prison.
The Chief Judge of Akwa Ibom State, Ekaette Obot, had imprisoned the lawyer for alleged contempt.

The lawyer, who posted a video on his Facebook, Friday morning, captioned it “History will vindicate the just.”
“I consider it an honour for me to be incarcerated for the truth,” Effiong said.
After he was sent to prison late July, Effiong said Justice Obot gave the order because he defending the truth.
Human rights groups and organisations had condemned Effiong’s detention.
