A former Big Brother Naija, Shine Ya Eye housemate, Tega Dominic, has shared her two cents on why some women endure domestic violence in the hands of their spouses.

Airing her opinion via her Instagram stories, the reality television show star noted that oftentimes, the ‘Mrs’ title makes women stay in an abusive relationship.

Tega who was married before she became a contestant in the Big Brother Naija show, Shine Ya Eye in 2021, got home to a rocky married due to her relationship with fellow housemate, Boma.

However, she has since claimed that her marriage had ended before getting into the BBNaija house due to infidelity on her husband’s part.

Sharing her advice on domestic violence, Tega in a series of posts wrote, “Most women go through the most because of the MRS tag or he will change, lol, the end of it is death, physically or mentally. Just so you know, revival after mental death is worse than actually dying, we women no dey hear word.

“Next they will say our mothers that stayed nko? Have u asked your mother how she is feeling deep down? Bloody narcissist.

“Sometimes I always think some women deserve what they get because them no gree get sense, na to dey drive Benz and Lexus dey hungry you. Just so u know if you die na mechanic go first drive am before they give it out.”(sic)
