The Nasarawa State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a suspect and seized 1,659 tonnes of Indian hemp worth N30m.
Parading the suspect, the state Commander of NDLEA, Mr Peter Odaudu, said personnel attached to Akwanga Command in Akwanga LGA intercepted and arrested the driver of a J5 Boxer with Reg No: KTG 71 XC, loaded with the Indian hemp.

He said the driver was travelling from Ogere in Ogun State to Bauchi State.
He further said the command also seized 367.6kd of Indian hemp and arrested two suspects around the emir’s palace in Lafia LGA.
