A former chairman of the FCT Football Association, Emmanuel Danjuma Attah, has congratulated Team Nigeria for their superlative performance in the just concluded 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
The former coordinator of the Super Eagles said the performance of the team in the games has gone a long way to prove and showcase the endless potential of Nigerian athletes and exemplary leadership qualities of the Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Sunday Dare.

The director in charge of General Services at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) said “Why we commend the athletes for putting up such gallant displays, it is very evident that the Minister provided the athletes with the enabling environment for them to excel and they really excelled.
“The heart-warming performance of Team Nigeria in Birmingham has also shown that the Minister is someone who is focused and diligent. He displayed this in the way he piloted the affairs of his Ministry before and during the games”.
Attah also appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari for the support he gave to the sports ministry to adequately prepare the athletes for the games.
The former junior international, therefore, implored the athletes not to rest on their oars in positively projecting the country in the field of sports.
