Daily Trust reported that INEC had set July 31 as the deadline for the PVC registration nationwide.
APC North West Zonal Publicity Secretary, Musa Mailafia Mada, made the call shortly after a meeting with the party’s Publicity Secretary in the zone held in Kaduna on Friday.
He explained that there are still many people yet to be registered because of shortage of centres, hence the need for the extension of the exercise.
“As a political party, we are calling on INEC to look inward and extend the registration exercise to enable more people to register. We also want them to create more registration centres,” he said.
