President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dr Suleiman Umar as the Rector of Kaduna Polytechnic.
The appointment is with immediate effect from 27th June,2022 and is for a period of five years single tenure.
This was contained in a statement signed by Deputy Registrar, Information and Protocol Samuel Y. Obochi, made available to Daily Trust.
Dr Suleiman hails from Kaduna South Local Government Area of Kaduna State .
He holds a Doctorate Degree (Ph.D) in Mathematics Education from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is a professional member of mathematics Association of Nigeria (MAN).
He served as Head of Department, Maths and Statistics Director, Academic Planning and Deputy Rector Administration in the Polytechnic.
Until his appointment, Dr Suleiman was the Acting Rector of the institution
