This followed the adoption and passage of a motion moved by the member representing Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency, Mansur Manu Soro, at the plenary on Wednesday.
Presenting the motion, the lawmaker said, the devastating flood disaster that occurred in Darazo Town of Darazo Local Government Area of Bauchi State, destroyed more than 200 houses, farmlands and other sources of livelihood.
Soro expressed concern over the plight of thousands of Nigerians displaced by flooding in Darazo town.
The House, therefore, urged NEMA to provide support to the victims.
It also urged NEMA and the NEDC to engage the Bauchi State Government with a view to resettling those who were displaced by the flood disaster.
The House passed the motion after a voice vote put out by the Deputy Speaker, Ahmed Idris Wase, who presided over the plenary.
