Kano: Civil defence nabs 2 cable vandals

The Kano State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested two electricity vandals in Kura LGA.

The Commandant, Adamu Idris Zakari, revealed this while briefing journalists in Kano.

He said the arrest was sequel to a formal report by the authorities of Kura General Hospital to the NSCDC on the recent vandalisation of electricity facilities in the area.

Adamu explained that following the report the personnel of the corps swung into action and apprehended two suspects, Surajo Tanimu and Ghali Ali, with eight metres of armoured cable in their possession valued at N1m.
