A motor accident on Wednesday morning claimed four lives in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
Witnesses said the accident which occurred on the Olokuta-Shasha road involved a Sienna bus and a Hummer bus.

A witness said the Sienna bus was coming from Ondo axis and had a head on collision with the Hummer bus which was heading to Ore and that four persons died instantly, including the driver of the Sienna.
He added that it took the intervention of motorists and residents of the area to rescue other passengers who were trapped in the vehicles.”
City & Crime further learnt that men of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) later arrived and took the injured to the hospital and deposited the corpses its mortuary.
