Nigerian attacker Victor Osimhen and his compatriot Michael Folorunsho have returned to the Napoli squad for the 2022/23 pre-season.

Osimhen comes in seeking to improve on a strong 2021–2022, when he scored 18 goals and had six assists across all competitions for Partonopei.
Newcastle, Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern, and Bayern Munich are among the teams who have expressed interest in the 23-year-transfer old’s from Napoli.
Osimhen is rumored to prefer moving to a team that offers Champions League football, despite the fact that Newcastle has the funds to make the signing.
However, Folorunsho, who spent last season on loan with Pordenone and Reggiana and had a successful loan, has returned to Napoli.
The 24-year-old midfielder joined Napoli in 2019 but is yet to make a single appearance for the club in three years.
