FCT minister condoles Pai chiefdom over chief’s death

The FCT minister, Muhammad Musa Bello, has condoled with the people of Pai Chiefdom in Kwali Area Council, over the death of their chief, His Royal Highness (HRH) Alhaji Abdullahi Bala Pai.

Bello spoke when he led a delegation of APC chieftains and some officials of the FCDA to the Pai community to commiserate with the family of the late monarch on Friday.

He said his relationship with the late monarch had always been cordial since he assumed office as minister seven years ago.

He described the late Pai chief as a father and was punctual for security meetings, saying the death of the late monarch was a big loss.

The minister, while praying for God to grant him eternal rest, urged the bereaved family to remain united in order to move the chiefdom forward.

Bello also used the visit to direct the chairman of the area council, Hon. Danladi Chiya, to submit a write-up to him on the state of the abandoned Pai-Kundu road toward mobilising the contractor to commence work on it.

Also speaking, the Emir of Keffi, His Royal Highness (HRH) Dr Shehu Chindo Yamusa III, who was also at Pai community on a condolence visit, prayed for God to grant the late monarch eternal rest.

On his part, the Ona of Abaji and chairman of the Council of Traditional Rulers in the FCT, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, who spoke on behalf of the traditional rulers, appreciated the FCT minister, emir of Keffi and his entourage for sparing time to condole with the people of Pai chiefdom over the death of the chief.
