The actress denied having any relationship with him during the last sitting on 14 June, 2022.

Daily Trust gathered that all parties in the case, including the actress, were at the court on Tuesday, when the judge announced that he just received a news that one of his wives had been hospitalised in Zaria.

The judge said he could not continue with the case because he was not in the right frame of mind.

He then asked the parties to bear with him and pick a new date for the hearing.

“You have to bear with me because I cannot listen to the case today. I just received the news that one of my wives is unconscious; I have to rush back home,” he simply said.

Speaking shortly after, Naira Multala Counsel to the complainant, said they reasoned with the judge over his wife’s health.

‎”The judge was called from Zaria that they rushed his wife to the hospital and we must reason with him, he even said that if we try to continue with the case, he would not be able to focus. The matter has been adjourned to 1st August,” he said.

Hadiza Gabon’s Counsel, Barrister Mubarak Sani Jibril, said his team consented to the adjournment. He prayed for the quick recovery of the judge’s sick wife.
