Popular Lagos socialite, Mike Nwogu, fondly known as Pretty Mike, may have taken his antics a bit too far to the displeasure of many social media users, especially in Nigeria.
The club owner came under fire for making an entrance with ladies who depicted the crucifixion of Jesus Christ at the wedding of comedian, Funnybone.

Pretty Mike went to the wedding with an entourage that showed a woman carrying a cross, dressed in a white revealing gown, while about five ladies dressed in red were flogging the lady.
The scene, which seemed like a mimick of Christ on the cross, irked social media users who knocked the socialite for his actions.
Sharing videos and photos via his Instagram page, Pretty Mike said, “What if the saviour of mankind was a woman, honestly think this world would have been a better place… Women, the most undermined secret weapon given to us, by the Almighty one.”
Following the circulation of the video on social media, Pretty Mike has received heavy backlash for his action, which has been viewed as blasphemy.
An Instagram user, @Iam_naya1, wrote in part, “This is very wrong and why the f*ck is people finding it funny and laughing? This is like taking the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ to be in vain if the show isn’t to enlighten people about the sacrifice of Jesus. This is very wrong.”
Another user, @Chukzz_lawrence, simply wrote, “This is sacrilege… Blasphemy…take this down baba.”
Also, @coolly_singnature commented, “God will surely judge you for everything you are doing.”
Giving her two cents, the user of a microblogging site, @emiomotoke, wrote, “Some girls sha. Going naked in a party like this; haaa, not even night club. ogaoo… my gender make we value ourselves first b4 we go expect man to value us oo, nobody be saint oo but damn my gender can do better plz… not even a musical video party with Fuji music ogaoo and the man no exposed him own body ooo.” (sic).
