An area court in Jos, Plateau State, on Tuesday, sentenced two labourers, Manji Manshak (21) and Zimshak Zingak (23) to seven months imprisonment each for stealing a goat.
A panel of two magistrates, Malam Ghazali Adam and Mr Hyacinth Dolnaan, gave the convicts an option to pay a fine of N20,000.

Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp Monday Dabit, told the court that the case was reported to the police on April 23, by Mr Alex Emmanuel.
