The Director-General of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Dr Faisal Shuaib, said 21,236,404 Nigerians had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 representing only 19 per cent of the targeted population.

Represented by the Director of Planning Research and Statistics of the agency, Dr Garba Bulama, he said the data showed that the country was still far away from achieving 70 per cent of the population set for September.
