Gory photos of a toddler whose hand was severely burnt in hot water by her mother has been trending on the internet with mixed reactions from Nigerians.

The photos posted by a facebook User identified as Enemuo Nneka revealed that the mother burnt the toddler`s hand to prevent her from sucking her thumb.
According to Nneka’s report, the mother’s friend brought up the suggestion of burning the toddler’s hand.
It is also reported that reveal the toddler is recuperating from the severe hand burn.
