I’m in Man City to fulfil my ambitions — Haaland

After joining Manchester City for £51.2 million from Borussia Dortmund, Erling Haaland says he is “in the right environment to fulfil his ambitions.”

The 21-year-old scored 86 goals in 89 games for Dortmund and joins the Premier League champions as one of the most sought-after forwards in the world.

He has agreed to a five-year contract extension until 2027 and will join the team on July 1. 

After City invoked the player’s release clause, an agreement was made for the Norway international in May.

On Sunday, Haaland scored his 20th international goal in 21 games for Norway, leaving him 14 away from becoming the top men’s scorer in the nation’s history.
