The Super Eagles will today depart for Marrakech, Morocco for their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday two clash against the Falcons of Sao Tome and Principe.
The game is scheduled for the Grand Stade de Marrakech on Monday.
The Super Eagles who started their campaign with a laboured 2-1 home win against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone on Thursday night in Abuja held a recovery session at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Friday evening and Saturday night.
Meanwhile, Nigeria has been handed a big boost ahead of the game against Sao Tome and Principe with midfielder Innocent Bonke returning to full training.
Bonke had missed the Super Eagles’ last two matches due to injury.
The Lorient of France star copped an injury in Nigeria’s 2-1 friendly defeat to Mexico last month.
Bonke was replaced by Katsina United defender Sani Faisal at halftime of the encounter.
The Eagles are second in Group A, as they head to Morocco for their Day 2 encounter against the ‘The Falcons and True Parrots’of São Tomé and Príncipe on June 13.
