Buhari condemns killing of worshippers in Ondo church

President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned what he called the “heinous killing” of worshippers at the St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, Owo Kingdom, Ondo State, on Sunday.

The President, in a statement issued by his spokesman, Femi Adesina, said “only fiends from the nether region could have conceived and carried out such dastardly act.”

He said eternal sorrow awaited them both on earth here, and ultimately in the hereafter.
President Buhari, who mourned the dead, condoled with their families, the Catholic Church, and the government of Ondo State, charged emergency agencies to swing into action, and bring succor to the wounded.
