Two teenagers have been stabbed to death by a gang of boys in Kwara State.
The incident, it was gathered, which occurred at Adifa/Cente Igboro area of Ilorin resulted in the deaths of the boys, simply identified as Lukman and Kudus.

The Kwara State Police Command, while reacting to the incident, described the victims as “two young boys”, adding that the attack was carried out by a group of boys led by one Habeeb Ganiyu of Agbarere area of Ilorin.
Spokesman of the command, Ajayi Okasanmi, said, “They stabbed the boys several times. They were rushed to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital by men of the Oja Oba police station after responding to a distress call. They were however confirmed dead by the doctors on duty.”
While noting that the chief suspect, Habeeb Ganiyu, had been arrested, the police spokesman said the cause of the fatal attack was yet to be unraveled.
However, residents and witnesses, however, told City & Crime that it was a cultists’ attack.
A resident said, “Before, they would have just shot at them (victims), but the dimension changed as they were continuously stabbed in the chest until they died.”
Cult related killings have spiked in the state after the incident on the eve of the last Eid el-Fitr that left several people dead over a renewed supremacy battle.
