Amotekun arrests cultists for gang raping 17-year-old girl in Osun

Operatives of the Western Nigeria Security Network, Amotekun Corps, in Osun State have arrested two cultists, Olamilekan Elijah (23) and Adegoroye Afeez (24) for gang-raping a 17-year-old girl in Iwo town.

The Field Commander of Amotekun in the state, Amitolu Shittu, said his men responded to a distress call and rescued the lady from the cultists and arrested them.

Shitu said the victim who lived in the Oke Bode area of Iwo was in her menstruation when she was lured to the house of one of the suspects, Afeez.

Shitu said, “The 17-year-old girl was raped by the two suspects and filmed, the suspects threatened the victim that the video recorded would be released on social media if she informed anybody of what transpired.

“Our investigation revealed that the two suspects are members of the Buccaneers confraternity otherwise known as Alora. In their claims, the suspect said they only wanted to be ‘fine’ with the girl.”
