The Nigeria Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Agency (NMDPRA) has threatened to shut any filing station hoarding petrol in Kogi State.
The state’s Coordinator of NMDPRA, Ogbe Orits Godwin, dropped the hint in Lokoja on Wednesday in an interview with journalists.

He said the agency was aware of the alleged move of some marketers in the state to hoard fuel in order to cause artificial scarcity.
He urged motorists to desist from panic buying.
Daily Trust reports that most petrol dealers in Lokoja have closed their stations to motorists with the tag of “no fuel”.
