A PDP governorship aspirant in Cross River State, Mrs Imah Nsa Adegoke, has rejected the consensus arrangement said to have been carried out by elders in the Southern district of the state.
Mrs Adegoke explained that all the aspirants had series of meetings and that the issue of consensus was definitely not what they agreed upon.

She said she was very much on track to succeed as the flag bearer of PDP.
She, however, denied that she was being marginalised in the ongoing processes and lobbying because she was a woman, but that in Nigeria women were not finding it easy to succeed in political high offices, citing her case in Cross River State.
