Bandits who kidnapped a 65-year-old village head of Rijana, in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Mr. Ayuba Dodo Dakolo, Friday made a new demand for two motorcycles.
Daily Trust had reported how the village head was abducted alongside other farmers at Kurmi, near Chikwale in the same LGA.

A source in the community who pleaded anonymity confirmed that the bandits sent in a third list demanding two motorcycles after the community was barely able to meet the demands in the two lists earlier sent to the community.
According to the source, “When the village head was abducted, the bandits sent in two lists asking for gallons of petrol and engine oil, cigarettes and recharge cards. We spent over N200, 000 to meet their demands in the first two lists only for them to send in a third list demanding for two motorcycles; we do not have money to meet their demands.
“We are however worried that the bandits have not called us because we noticed that they have moved their captors from a certain farm land within the community where they camped.”
