Dr. Akabe warned that whoever was found breaching the existing peace in the state would not be spared, commending security agencies for maintaining law and order across the state.

He said the government was concerned about the situation, emphasizing that the security challenge would not be addressed without the collective efforts of security operatives in the state and traditional rulers.

Speaking shortly after the meeting, the state commissioner of police, Mr Adesina Soyemi, said the heads of the various security agencies in the state have been directed to check unwarranted movements of people into the state.

The police boss affirmed that synergies amongst security agencies would be bolstered and that necessary security wares have been provided to help nip the influx of criminal elements in the bud.

Earlier, emir of Keffi, Dr Shehu Chindo Yamusa, promised to always share information with security agencies so as to safeguard the state.
