APC Presidential Aspirant Expresses Shock Over N100m Form

A presidential aspirant, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba, has expressed shock over the N100 million cost of expression of interest and nomination forms for aspirants.

Earlier in the day, the ruling party put the cost of the expression of interest and nomination forms for presidential aspirants at N100 million.

Reacting via his Twitter handle, Garba, who was also a presidential aspirant in 2019, wrote, “100m for the form. WOW!”

He added, “If we don’t come together and use our collective power to save this country from the strangulation of the moneybags, we are doing a great disservice to our generation and that of the future.

”We cannot continue to buy political offices in Nigeria, we need competent leaders come 2023.”

His tweet generated reactions, with many Nigerians saying if he is not financially buoyant enough, he should step down.
