The Kwara State Police Command said it has launched a manhunt for some suspected cult members following a murder incident on Monday night.
It was gathered that the incident which occurred around 7:30 pm in Oja Gbooro, Ilorin East Local Government Area, saw the suspected cult members shoot the victim on his head.

The corpse of the yet-to-be-identified victim has since been deposited at the morgue of the Ilorin General Hospital.
The cult members shot sporadically into the air leaving the residents in panic before killing their target.
In a statement by the spokesman of the state’s Police Command, Ajayi Okasanmi; the Commissioner of Police, on Tuesday, Amienbo Assayomo has ordered the arrest of the perpetrators.
“Aggressive manhunt for the culprit(s) has commenced. The CP advises parents and guidance to monitor and warn their children and wards as anybody arrested for any act of criminality will be made to suffer the consequences”, Okasanmi added.
