Manchester United player, Cristiano Ronaldo, smashed an Everton fan’s phone after The Red Devils lost a Premier League match to The Toffees on Saturday.
Everton beat Manchester United 1:0 at Goodison Park.
The fan was filming the star at the time players were going down the tunnel, when Ronaldo angrily smashed the phone.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s angry jab left the fan with a bruise on his hand.
But the Portuguese playmaker has since apologized for his action on his verified Instagram account. In his apology, the footballer wrote, “It’s never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments such as the one we are facing.
“Nevertheless, we always have to be respectful, patient and set the example for all the youngsters who love the beautiful game. I would like to apologize for my outburst and, if possible, I would like to invite this supporter to watch a game at Old Trafford as a sign of fair play and sportsmanship.”
