Following the altercation between Will smith and comedian Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars, Netflix and Sony have decided to put their upcoming projects with him on hold.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Smith was set to star in the next Netflix film ‘Fast and Loose.’ However, sources close to the outlet say that the streaming giant has made it known that it is no longer working on the initiative.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Fast and Loose” had just lost its director, David Leitch, a week before the Oscars incident. Despite acting quickly “to put out an urgent” request for a filmmaker to direct “Fast and Loose,” Netflix “quietly” scrapped the movie following Smith’s behaviour at the Academy Awards.
The Hollywood reporter also mentioned that Sony had put a halt to the production of ‘Bad Boys’ 4 which Will Smith was to star in.
