The newly elected national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, has received his certificate of return as national chairman of the party.
Senator Adamu, a former governor of Nasarawa State, emerged as the party’s helmsman at the national convention held last Saturday at the Eagle Square in Abuja and was immediately sworn in, alongside other new members of the National Working Committee (NWC).

The Jigawa State governor and chairman of the electoral committee for the convention, Abubakar Badaru, issued the certificate of return to Senator Adamu Friday at the APC national secretariat in Abuja.
Speaking during the ceremony, Adamu said he would carry everybody along in the scheme of things.
“I am a team player. As much as it is possible; I want to carry everybody along with me,” he said.
