Kunle Tokunbo, a Nollywood comic actor, who was popularly known as Dejo Tunfulu, is dead.
The actor, who featured in comedy roles in Yoruba movies, reportedly died on Thursday night.
Details of his death were still sketchy at the time of this report, but his colleague, Kunle Afod, confirmed the news on Instagram.
“You still posted this picture recently only for me to hear about your death today. This is so sad,Pressy Tunfulu.Daddy Junior, still cant believe this.”
Bolaji Amusan, National President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), confirmed the death on Friday.
Amusan, who was in shock over the development, said he saw the deceased at a party earlier this week.
He was a prominent Yoruba comic actor, writer and producer.
Tokunbo’s death comes four months after that of Babatunde Omidina, then known as Baba Suwe.
Tokunbo and Omidina played comic roles in the entertainment sector.
