Moghalu, a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), who made the statement yesterday in an interaction with journalists in Kano, said if nothing is done to get the right president in 2023, the country will become a failed state.
“For too long, we have had politics without governance and because there is a complete absence of governance in Nigeria today, the country is gradually descending into a failed state.
“If 2023 does not bring a paradigm shift with a president that is competent to do the job, this country will move decisively into a failed state,” he said.
