Three engineers of Bua Cement PLC were feared dead after two oil tanks exploded at their factory in Sokoto on Friday.
Daily Trust gathered that another three staff of the company sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

It was also gathered that one of the tanks was containing diesel while the other one contained black oil.
Our source revealed that the two tanks contained about five million litres of oil combined before the explosion.
According to the source, the staff were working on the tanks when they exploded around 9am.
More than 24 hours after the explosion, the fire is still raging, Daily Trust gathered.
Another source revealed that part of the plant that was commissioned recently by President Muhammadu Buhari was destroyed by the inferno.
It was also gathered that the tanks were supplying diesel and black oil to the new plant.
“But I assure you this will not hinder our production because we have other reservoirs,” the source added.
The spokesman of the Sokoto Fire Service, Bello Baban Addini, said they were still making effort to put off the fire.
He noted that they were investigating the cause of the explosion, the number of casualties and the extent of damage it caused in the factory.
The management of the company is yet to react to the development.
