Boy, 4, rescued from well in Kano

The Kano Fire Service has rescued a four-year-old boy, Ahmad Sulaiman Ibrahim, who fell into a well while playing with other boys in an uncompleted building.

The incident happened at Bayan Kara in Danbatta LGA of the state.

The spokesman of Kano State Fire Service, Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, made this known in Kano on Thursday.

He said the incident occurred as a result of negligence from caregivers and that the boys were playing in a dangerous area.

“The victim, Sulaiman Ibrahim, was playing with other children in an uncompleted building when he mistakenly fell into a well.”

He was rescued alive, conveyed to Danbatta General Hospital for medical treatment and later handed over to his neighbour, Saminu Sani Salisu.
