The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) support groups has called for disciplinary actions against all members working against the interests of the party.
In a statement signed by Malam Isah Jabbi, the Convener, the youths said: “We of the APC Youth support groups having analysed the entire situation and the present scenario hereby call on the APC National leadership to urgently take disciplinary actions against all persons working against the interests of the party for their selfish interests.
“We noted with concern the subversive acts of some so-called party members and leaders in the run-up to the 2022 APC National convention to date.
“We condemn wholeheartedly the acts of contempt exhibited by persons expected to show leadership by purchasing nomination forms for offices that have been allocated out of their zones.”
While insisting that the national leadership must immediately dismiss all members working against the party, the group expressed shock that party leaders would oppose the zoning arrangement of the party.
The group fingered top politicians from Zamfara State as those behind the plot to destabilise the party.
