The World Justice Project (WJP) has condemned the violation of human rights and international law in the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
In a statement, WJP said the action was a “blatant violation of international law and respect for territorial sovereignty.”

The project said “As the most recent WJP Rule of Law Index found, respect for rule of law principles such as constraints on government powers and fundamental rights has been deteriorating in Russia and improving in Ukraine.
“Vladimir Putin’s naked aggression against the wishes of the Ukrainian people is yet another sign of the dangers posed by unchecked executive power and government control of the media.
“We stand with the brave people of both Ukraine and Russia who want to live in peace, with respect for the rule of law.”
